Create two different types of textured paintings. Miss Rochelle will demo step-by-step a tree in 4 seasons using a paper pulp compound. Add water and mix into a paste to add 3D rough texture to your drawing on the canvas. Once it’s dry, paint with acrylics. On another canvas, draw a puppy or kitten. (You may bring a picture of your dog or cat.) Then apply modeling paste and acrylics with a palette knife to create a thick impasto style painting that resembles the technique used by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet and other famous artists. Drawing and colors may be changed to make each painting your own. Details may be added with paint brushes. Small class size of 6 maximum allows students to receive hands-on help. Projects may vary from samples shown.

“Leandro loves your class…he proudly framed and gifted FOUR of his incredible paintings to his cousins and best friends as Christmas and birthday presents. So, we will need him to make more soon!”
“Chloe is learning so much in your course and she absolutely loves it!”
“Dakota had so much fun at your class. I was so impressed by her picture I even framed it and hung it in her room.”
“Jacob is getting interested in drawing and painting now, and enjoys class with you very much. He also gained some confidence of his drawing homework at school.”
